Ruffy has been at Peaceful Packers for several years now.
He is of medium stature, incredibly strong and excellent conformation.
Ruffy's temperament is very good, he leads well and gets along fine with our other males.
Ruffy was born at Dewey Meadows, one of the original North East llama farms. A source for excellent llama and alpaca stock in central New York State. At Peaceful Packers, Ruffy is the defender of all alpacas, not that most alpacas need defending from llamas but that is the role he has chosen.
We've been very pleased with Ruffy ... he has worked well as a packer, handles well around people and we now are starting to use him in our breeding program. So far, his off spring have his solid stature and the rough-and-tumble personality we have come to appreciate in him. His attributes are strength, vigor and a nice manageable disposition. He and his off spring would show well with a style that is most often attributed to classic chilian blood lines. You can't help but like him.
